Contemplate the Infinite

Space is big. Really big. It’s hard to wrap your head around the size and scope of it. And then I see models like this:

This picture makes me feel small. Small in a good way though. It lifts my eyes and my thoughts from the terrestrial day-to-day of life to grander themes of life and meaning. We are so small and relatively insignificant in this universe. It makes me really appreciate everything that I have. I feel a warm bond with my friends and family thinking about this. I am grateful and humbled.
