  1. My heart is breaking for you guys. Please know that you and the girls are lifted up in prayer.

  2. Dear Jen and Jason,
As a mother I can’t imagine the mass of emotions you must be feeling. The pain, joy, anxiety. Moraya and I have been praying everyday numerous times a day. Please if you need ANYTHING let us know!

    Your friend,Alyssa

  3. My heart goes out to you and your family. So many tears have been shed along with you as you are having to go through this. Please know that you aren’t alone – all of your friends and family are with you and more importantly, your Heavenly Father is right there by your side. I’m so sorry for all the hurt and pain you all must be going through.

Please let us know if there is anything at all we can do to help.

Lots of love – Mark and Jenn Cook

  4. Dear Jason and Jen,

I am so sorry to hear about this tragedy. I am praying for you both and for Juliana and Zoe that God will keep them safe and well and for you guys that you will be able to get through this difficult time.

  5. Jen and Jason,
Words can’t do justice to your breaking hearts, I’m sure. But I hope you can find comfort in the numerous prayers that are being prayed around the country for your family. No one prepares for such an event, and these emotions must overwhelm you at this point. Just remember that time heals all pain. Praise God for His soon coming, when you will be reunited with your Eden.

    Ashley

  6. My thoughts and prayers are with you and Juliana and Zoe. I wish I could give you a hug.
    -Emilie

  7. It’s difficult to know all this and not be able to hug you tightly. You are all loved dearly and prayed for constantly.

    Much love,

    Candy

  8. We pray constantly for your well being and for the girls. Our hearts break for you but know God will give you the strength to carry on.
    Paul and Celinda

  9. You and your family are in our prayers many times each day. Amya says, “Father God will take care of you all and He has His angels standing next to both Juliana and Zoe each minute”. We will continue our prayers (we have asked the church in San Diego and also, in Gettysburg to add you to their prayer lists). Words are not near enough to comfort you but our Father can bring you peace.

  10. I am very sorry about little Eden. Her name caught my eye because our little girl who is 2 1/2 is Aurelia Emily Barto. I’ve never seen or heard that name used before. Aurelia was born with group b strep and was whisked to Vanderbilt for 3 weeks. She coded over 15 times those first few days. The other 2 will be in our fervent prayers. Just remember that God gives us the strength to go through each day, just not before hand. He has an uncanny of giving it to us at exactly the right moment. You will be given the strength to go through whatever is ahead. I lost my first husband suddenly when I was 26, so I really know first hand about loss and power of God, prayer, and His constant generosity and strength. And now, 2 1/2 years after the traumatic beginning to Aurelia’s life, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. God has been here too everyday of my new journey. Juliana and Zoe are on my heart and will stay there. You will have the strength, and tell the mean old devil that HE WILL NOT WIN!

  11. Hi,
In June of 1989 I delivered premature twins @ 23 1/2 weeks. Jordy weight 1 lb 3 oz. and Zach weighed 1 lb 7 oz. The circumstances were dire. Zach died at 1 week. Jordy had bowel surgery @ hopkins on day six. He sustained a grade 1 intracranial hemorrhage and was tubed and vented for 3 months. He had surgery in October 1989 to reverse his colostomy and was discharged on the 23rd of that month weighing 4 pounds. He’s now twenty years old, attends Maryland School for the Blind, has a girl friend, plays the piano and guitar and brings his family much joy. I know your pain and loss. Lean on your family and friends and don’t ever give up hope. Please feel free to contact me if you’d like to talk.
